1973 SEIKO 3823 VFA

Gorgeous Seiko VFA (very fine adjust) high end quartz watch from 1973. The VFA was famously hugely expensive on release and the pinnacle of movement and watch build quality of the period and largely unmatched since! Lovely dial with apllied minute markers. The 38 series movement is a fully serviceable metal construction with a jewelled index finger ensuring the second hand hits the markers accurately each every tick unlike most modern offerings. Daydate quicksets on the crown at position 1 allowing user to selct kanji or english day indication. On her original bracelet with seiko signed clasp to fit up to around 7 and a quarter inch wrists, for larger wrists we can fit a new full sized bracelet on request.
